Thanks for todays session Jamie really enjoyed it and spent most of todays west ham game relating to some of the drills covered today especially the back passing.

Look forward to the next time.

Alec enjoyed the event very much and felt he had received a good varied level of coaching on the goalkeeping course. It is a good idea to have a separate goalkeeping course running alongside a more general soccer skills course and this was what attracted us to making this booking. It was very good value for money and the presentation of a t-shirt, medal etc was an added bonus. Many thanks for helping to organise this event

Vinny - I would like to thank you for all your efforts which have considerably helped Tommy become so much more aware & confident - as I said before, many people have really noticed the difference in Tommy since he started with you.
Jon - I would also like to thank you for all your excellent organisational efforts - as ever this is greatly appreciated.

Hopefully speak to both of you very soon.

My son Jack attended on the the goalkeeping course on the Monday with
Vinnie. Fantastic is all I can say!

Watching him train with other keepers was a pleasure as was meeting
you/the other coaches and boys.

If future coarses come in during school holidays I know for a fact that
Jack would like to attend. As it is we are trying to rearrange social
diaries, etc in the hope that Jack can train at least once a month on a
Monday with Vinnie.

For the record Jack trained with Spurs on their goalkeeping coarse the very following day and he tells me that him felt as though he learnt more from Vinnie plus he said that Vinnie made them work harder!

I would just like to say how well my son Bradley has developed and improved from the weekly sessions with Vinnie and the goal keeping coaches.

He has grown with confidence between the sticks and that is through to the help received by all concerned at these training sessions.

It was a wet & cold night last night and still a very good turn out.

My son has learnt so much from the sessions & courses that he has attended and will continue to progress to help improve his overall performance.

A big thank you to vinnie for his time, patience?s, and understanding with all boys & girls abilities.

The sessions are very well organised and the older boys help the younger ones with tips.

My son has been attending for the past 2/3 seasons and I can say it?s worth every penny with the feed back that I receive from my son.

He looks forward to attending, which is great to see as the Xbox gets a chance for a rest.

Well done to all the team involved?.

After a prolonged break from any goalkeeper training Josh felt he needed some as the new season approached as he had lost a lot of confidence, and interest. After just one session with Vinnie and boys he has gained so much, it has reignited his desire to be a keeper (something which can be hard, especially with the blame culture of youth football), and already began to increase his confidence in his own abilities. No two sessions are the same, and every session is a challenge for keepers of all abilities and age groups, bringing technical skill, movement, fitness and fun. Evan Mum Says Evan has been attending goalkeeping sessions for sometime now and has progressed really well with Vinnie's help. He enjoys the sessions (maybe not the press-ups) and various skills he has learnt there have helped during his games. Vinnie is always helpful with any questions that Evan or myself have needed to ask. I feel that the sessions are well run and discipline is handed out when necessary. The boys are a mix of ages and this works well. Keep up the good work. Lianne.

My son, Mark attended for only 1 day, but he thoroughly enjoyed it and was worked hard all day!! Vince had produced lots of handouts which are extremely useful and helpful - he had obviously put a lot of hard work into the course. My son is deaf and when I turned up to collect him he was fully included in the proceedings. Thank you, Vince! Ceiri Van Haeften

We are very pleased at the coaching you provide and feel that Scott is benefiting greatly from his Monday night sessions - he seems to have improved a great deal since joining Vinnie's goalkeeping School. Terri miller

" Jack (aka JP) has just attended Vinnie's summer course and once again has had a very enjoyable time. He tells me that he learnt plenty and "brushed up" on the standards, overall plenty of hard work with no time for slacking! A good time was had by one and all and his fellow keepers were good company. Vin was as approachable as ever and nothing was every much to much trouble. Kind regards, Dave Phillips"

hi jon/ vinnie- daneil enjoys the school albeit we have missed some recent sessions. The advantages of the school and training sessions are the flexibility of attending ie no up front fees which some schools insist on.
Daniel enjoys the skill sessions and we have always been pleased with the level of the training and the friendly environment.
Disadvantages are the similar nature of each session- would it be possible to plan each session around a different g/keeper skill and advertise this in advance. (maybe to all local clubs as well?) That way if a keeper needs to work (for example) on kicking they'll attend knowing they'll get specialist help with their particular weak-ness. By doing this and monitoring the attendance at ea session may help to identify what keepers really need and expand the sessions accordingly.
Hope this helps!

Hi John,
Thanks for the emails and updates regarding the gk sessions they are very helpful and my goal keepers have benefited from knowing what is going on locally for them.
My under 10s goalie attended the session held at castle green Monday 07.09.09. and did say that he enjoyed the session a great deal, his parents were impressed with the session put on and thought that the technical information delivered was really good, however they did feedback a few concerns, firstly they felt the group was too large with not enough scope for any individual attention, which I feel is vital, particularly for the younger keepers, considering that 28 boys attended and it was commented that it was a low turnout due to being the first week back which is a concern. They also said that the session also seemed to finish quite late with my young keeper not arriving home until 9.30pm on a school night, perhaps it could start earlier in the evening, finally they commented that they thought it was very expensive compared to other gk sessions and were charged £10.00 for the session, if you were to imagine that they attended weekly that would be £40/£50 per month, and as you can imagine most gk are registered to Sunday teams , mine charges £20.00 per month , not many parents can afford to fork out £60/70 a month to play football so we thought the cost was slightly dear considering the little 1-2-1 attention received.
Thanks and Regards,
Mark
